Appearance:
-Aeris can be easily described as a muscular medium-height miqo'te.
-She has shoulder-length purple hair with bits and pieces that seem to be fading to white. Don't ask about the white.
-As for her eyes, they are a beautiful emerald hue. Some say that if you look hard enough, you can see a fire burning within them.

The Past
Aeris Nohr was born on a fishing island by the name of "Kayip Island" or as others called it, "The Island of the Lost". A place where those who have fully lost their way in life, somehow end up there. She was a daughter to Aerla (Keeper) and R'akton (Seeker) Nohr along with three other siblings.
Unfortunately, Aera was born with a denser aetheric volume, which caused problems for her, such as making her weak and ill most of her childhood.
All of this changed once she met her future master, Griffin. At the time he was just a drunken old man that would sit down at the docks where Aera would frequent to stargaze, but they began to talk, learn about one another. Then one night, he offered to teach her the ways of the monk, so that she may overcome her weaknesses and beat her sickness.
And now, being in Eorzea for almost two years, Aera continues her search for power, seeking to better herself in the process.

A Legendary Fisherman's Grand Daughter
Sometimes you may hear Aera speak of her "Ol' Great Grandpa Kino Nohr!", claiming that this man had once caught an entire Leviathan! Even if it may not be true (which it totally is), she has fisherman's blood in her!
She can cook?
She can! Getting started by none other than Aji Yascaret, she likes to cook for people whenever she has the chance.
A dabbler with strings
Aera doesn't do it too often nowadays, but sometimes you can catch her strumming a tune on a worn cherry-colored guitar.
Fighting Styles
Monk Style
Your tried and true monk methods! You got punches, kicks, spins, flips, all of it!
Sumo Style
A style she picked up on her first visit to Kugane. This style has more of a focus on standing her ground and grappling her opponents rather than the usual bashing.
Biff-Sue Style
Aera uses a dagger she keeps on her for this style! She developed this style through putting together bits and pieces she had learned from two of her greatest friends Dalton Elesser and Ino Hatasashi. Combining swift bladework with touches of skullduggery, Aera dances around the battlefield in a confusing display to throw off enemies.
Companions
The Talon has many allies, and some of them aren't even human! Even so, she trusts them fully.
Icarus
Her ever-faithful chocolate covered chocobo! They first met in Ul'dah, around the time Aera had first came to Eorzea, where no one was willing to buy the bird for being unable to fly due to a charred wing and also being aggressive towards most people. But when Aera saw him, she instantly felt a connection. She scrapped up what gil she could and was able to get him! Now, they are quite close.
The 4000 Needle Groupe
A small pack of cactuars that Aera looks after. It all started with the one named Hermes, having started to follow her one day after she had mistakenly spilled some of her flask water onto him. Since then, he looks up to her as a source of well, water. He often throws a fit if not watered, going completely still for a few seconds before needling whoever may be a target.
Later on, Hermes made new friends by setting free a herd of cactuars during a death race! (which he was participating in). Unfortunetly, not all of them survived, but the ones that did stuck by Hermes, therefore forming the 4000 Needle Groupe!
